Ranchi: Members of the Child Protection and Women Empowerment Committee of the Bihar Legislative Council met Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren at his office in the Jharkhand Assembly on Wednesday.

Discussion On Child Protection And Women Empowerment

During the meeting, the committee members briefed the Chief Minister about their ongoing initiatives related to child protection and women empowerment in Bihar. They also shared insights from their work in these sectors.

Exchange Of Experiences Between Two States

The visiting delegation informed the Chief Minister that during their tour of the Jharkhand Assembly, they learned about the initiatives undertaken by the Women and Child Development Committee of the Jharkhand Assembly. The interaction also included an exchange of experiences and best practices between the two states.

Key Leaders Present During Meeting

Kalpana Soren, chairperson of the Jharkhand Assembly’s Women and Child Development Committee, was also present at the meeting. The delegation from Bihar included committee chairperson Dr. Kumud Verma and members Reena Yadav, Munni Devi, and Nivedita Singh, among others.
