Tehran: Iran has launched a series of missile and drone attacks on multiple US military bases across the Gulf region, reportedly causing significant damage and killing six American soldiers in Kuwait.
Heavy Damage At Key US Installations
According to reports, several US bases in Kuwait, located close to Iran, suffered the most severe impact. The attack on Shuaiba Port reportedly destroyed a key tactical operations center of the US military. At least six American soldiers were killed in this strike.
The Ali Al Salem Air Base was also targeted, where aircraft hangars were damaged due to missile and drone strikes. Additionally, the Buharing fuel and maintenance camp was hit, further disrupting logistical operations.
Regional Bases Targeted In Coordinated Attacks
Iran’s offensive extended beyond Kuwait, hitting multiple strategic locations across the Gulf. In Qatar, the Al Udeid Air Base — the largest US military base in the Middle East — reportedly suffered destruction of its early-warning radar system.
In Bahrain, Iran targeted the headquarters of the US Navy’s Fifth Fleet, while in Saudi Arabia, the Prince Sultan Air Base was attacked, damaging communication systems and refueling aircraft.
Escalation Raises Global Security Concerns
The coordinated strikes mark a significant escalation in the ongoing conflict, with Iran deploying cruise missiles, drones, and other advanced weaponry. The attacks have heightened tensions across the region and raised concerns about a broader military confrontation involving multiple countries.
