Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren visited the Shri Ram-Janaki Tapovan Temple on the occasion of Ram Navami and Mahavir Jayanti, where a huge gathering of devotees created a vibrant and devotional atmosphere.

Grand Welcome And Message Of Harmony

The Chief Minister was welcomed by members of the Mahavir Mandal and devotees with traditional honors, including a ceremonial saffron stole. The temple echoed with chants of “Jai Shri Ram,” creating a deeply spiritual environment. He offered prayers for the peace, prosperity, and well-being of the state. After the rituals, he said that Mahavir Jayanti conveys the message of courage, service, and dedication, and appealed to people to maintain harmony and brotherhood.

Devotees Flock Temple In Large Numbers

Thousands of devotees arrived at the temple carrying Mahavir flags and seeking blessings of Lord Ram and Goddess Janaki. Visitors were seen bowing at the temple steps before entering and offering prayers to various deities. The atmosphere resembled a fair, with large crowds participating in the celebrations and expressing deep faith.

Long Queues For Offerings And Festive Arrangements

The temple gates were opened at 5:30 AM, and long queues formed early in the morning for devotees. Distribution of sacred offerings continued throughout the day. The temple premises were lined with numerous stalls selling toys, decorative items, and colorful religious flags, adding to the festive spirit.

Heavy Security Deployment Ensures Smooth Arrangements

Considering the large turnout and the Chief Minister’s visit, the administration made extensive security arrangements. Hundreds of police personnel, including women officers, were deployed across the temple premises to manage the crowd and ensure safety.
