Ranchi: The shortage of X-ray films that had been causing inconvenience to patients at RIMS (Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences) has been resolved, with the management swiftly arranging adequate X-ray plates in the radiology department. Services are now running normally and patients will no longer face difficulties getting X-ray examinations done.
Digital X-Ray Facility on the Way
RIMS management is also preparing to launch a new digital facility for patients, under which high-resolution X-ray images will be available for download via an online link. Once operational, patients and their families will be able to access X-ray reports and images from anywhere, making it easier to consult doctors in other cities or hospitals. The management said work on this initiative is underway and it is expected to be implemented soon.
