Ranchi, Sept.24: Despite an order from the Jharkhand high court, a contract employee of Jharkhand Industrial Area Development Authority (JIADA), Bokaro Region, Mohammed Rizwan Armi Ali, is running from pillar to post for reinstatement of his service.

Ali, who was working as Industry Extension (Development) Officer, was terminated from his service in March 2019 after his seven years of continuous work on a contract basis. He challenged his termination before the Jharkhand High Court. After hearing, the bench of Justice S.N.Pathak quashed the termination order on July 26, 2021 and directed for reinstatement.

Following the court order, the employee knocked on the door of JIADA managing director and JIADA, Bokaro region regional director besides the chief minister. But despite all this, his reinstatement could not take place so far.

Contacted secretary-cum-Nodal officer of JIADA, Nagendra Paswan, for his comment on the matter he said that matter is already in the knowledge of the department.

“The court while passing the order of reinstatement said that consequential benefits shall depend on the final outcome and decision will be taken after giving the full opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. Thus the matter has been forwarded to the regional director to pass some speaking order in the wake of the high court order,” Paswan said.
