ICC T20 World Cup is going to be held in Oman and UAE from October 17 . The hosting rights are with the Board Of Control For Cricket (BCCI). Now BCCI along with the Emirates Cricket Board(ECB) demanded permission to have a capacity crowd at the Dubai International Stadium on the final match to be held on November 14.
According to the reports, the Indian board is keen to have 25,000 spectators for the final match and they need permission for the same from UAE authorities. The IPL has already seen a return of fans in the UAE and vaccination rules are already there for entry in the stadium in the T20 World Cup, in this case BCCI wants to get permission for a full capacity crowd.
Notably, the Indian team will play its first match on October 24 against Pakistan. The first Semi-final will be held in Abu Dhabi on November 10 and the second semi-final will be hosted by Dubai on November 11.
