Giridih(Jharkhand),3 October: On Sunday, a youth riding bike died due to the collision with a car laden with alcohol in Nawadih of Panchba police station area of the Giridih district. While two others on the bike with him were seriously injured. At the same time, the collision was so tremendous that the bike caught fire and it got completely burnt. After the incident, The driver of the XUV managed to escape.
Liquor worth Rs 8 lakh has been seized from the car. The deceased was identified as Yusuf Ansari (40), a resident of Belatola village, a resident of Jamua. While Alam Ansari and Zakir Ansari are injured with him and both have been admitted to the hospital.
After the accident, a large number of people, apart from the relatives of the deceased, gathered at the site of the accident. The crowd also created ruckus at the spot. The police, who reached the spot on the information of the accident, had to face the anger of the villagers. Villagers and police came face to face and during this SI RB Singh got injured. Later DSP Sanjay Rana, Nagar police station in-charge RN Chaudhary, Pachamba station in-charge Nitish Kumar arrived with the police force and removed the crowd. Police has sent the deceased youth to Sadar Hospital. The police of Pachamba police station has confiscated the XUV vehicle and the crashed bike.
