Ranchi gears up for Civil Services examination at 60 centres tomorrow

Ranchi, Oct 9: Civil Services Examination-2021 conducted by the Union Public Service Commission, New Delhi is to be held on October 10 2021 at 60 different exam centres in Ranchi. The exam will be conducted in two different shifts, first shift from 09:30 AM to 11:30 AM and the second shift from 02:30 PM to 04:30 PM.

 

In order to conduct the examination in a malpractice-free environment at these examination centres, a deputation of magistrates along with police force and police officers has been done by the Deputy Commissioner and the Senior Superintendent of Police in the district.

 

In view of the possibility of disturbing law and order by crowding the examination centres, prohibitory orders have been issued by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Sadar, Ranchi within a radius of 200 meters of the examination centres.

 

The prohibitory orders are as follows:-

 

  • Gathering of 5 or more than 5 persons at one place except for officials/employees engaged in government work, government programs and funerals.

 

  • Dealing with any kind of sound-amplifying device.

 

  • Carrying any kind of weapon like a gun, bomb, gunpowder etc. except the officials/employees engaged in government work.

 

  • Carrying any kind of weapon like a stick, arrow-bow, spear etc. except the officials/employees engaged in government work.

 

  • Organizing any kind of meeting or general meeting.

 

All the prohibitory orders will be effective from 06:30 AM to 07:30 PM on October 10, 2021, within a radius of 200 meters of the examination centres.
