New Delhi, Jan 9: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday chaired a meeting to review the COVID-19 situation in the country through a video conference.
The meeting is being attended by Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya. Top officials part of this meeting include the Aviation Secretary, Home Secretary, Cabinet Secretary, and Chairman of the Railway Board, among others.

This meeting comes as the country reported more than 1.5 lakh new COVID-19 cases on Sunday and the number Omicron cases reaches to 3,623 in the country. Maharashtra (1,009) continuing to top the count, followed by Delhi (513) and Karnataka (441).
