Ranchi, Jan 9: A dead body was recovered on Sunday morning at Dhurva Dam in the city under the jurisdiction of the Nagdi police station area. The body has been identified as HEC employee Lal Babu Singh who was a Dhurva resident. After receiving information about the incident, a police team reached the spot, took the body out of the dam and sent it for post-mortem.
As per the police, Singh left his house after a dispute between family members. It is believed that Singh committed suicide due to stress. Family members of the deceased have been called by the police for further questioning in the matter.
