Ramgarh, Jan 20: Being a middle-class person who aspires to do something different from the usual is not easy, and living in India, where such passions are rarely valued, makes it even more difficult. However, if you put in the effort, you may stand out from the crowd.
Ramgarh’s resident Vaibhav Kumar Sharma, who became successful by preferring his passion for painting, is now known as a successful artist of the era.
Like every other middle-class guy, Vaibhav was also forced to be a part of the sheep mentality and to follow the 9-5 job trend. But it was his guts and dedication which halted him from becoming a corporate slave and the result is here, Vaibhav is now associated with a lot of well-known brands, influencers and has done shoots for them.
He has been shining his skills in painting since his school days. He initially began with painting of nature, his companions, family members and now, his work has shown up on a few magazine covers, top distributions and mainstream online media pages.
Vaibhav Kumar Sharma, a resident of Naisarai, Ramgarh has brought laurels not only to his district but also to his state through his art.
The financial condition of his house was not good in the beginning. In the year 2007, his mother got the job as a servant in Anganwadi whereas his father does furniture work.
Vaibhav’s school life started with Cantonment Upgraded High School. In the year 2012, he participated in the Defense State Day National Painting Competition held in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh and waved its flag.
Since 2012, Vaibhav won the state level competition for three consecutive years. In 2015, he got enrolled in Gandhi Memorial +2 High School. Whether it was painting to studies or any other competition, he used to participate in each one of them.
Impressed by this talent, the then Governor of Jharkhand Draupadi Murmu, honoured Vaibhav many times.
Former Chief Minister of Jharkhand Raghubar Das also honoured him for his paintings. All the officials who came to Ramgarh district have honoured him.
At first, Vaibhav started presenting pictures to the officials and small and big leaders in Ramgarh district.
Among the officials are Deputy Commissioners of Jharkhand including Rajeshwari B, Sandeep Singh, Madhavi Mishra, Sub-Divisional Officer Anant Kumar, District Superintendent Prabhat Kumar Kaushal Kishore, SDPO Kishore Rajak and other officials. MLA Mamta Devi, Kuntu Babu and Chandraprakash Chaudhary.
Even Chief Minister Hemant Soren has honored Vaibhav and also given a lot of assurance for his bright future.
Vaibhav gradually got offers in the Bollywood world. Many Bollywood stars including singer Himesh Reshamiya, actress Taapsee Pannu, Poonam Dhillon and Gulshan Grover have appreciated Vaibhav for his talent. He has also been invited to Mumbai to pursue his dreams.
Jharkhand Governor Ramesh Bais has also been greatly impressed by Vaibhav’s paintings and has also invited him to the Raj Bhavan.
Now Vaibhav is planning to present a portrait to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
