Lucknow, Feb 15:  Omprakash Rajbhar, the leader of the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP), made a stunning assertion on Tuesday, claiming that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adiyanath intends to assassinate me.

Rajbhar told reporters that he was attacked on Monday while accompanying his party’s candidate Arvind Rajbhar to file his nomination papers in Varanasi’s Shivpur constituency.

The leader of the SBSP, who has formed an alliance with Akhilesh Yadav’s Samajwadi Party, stated that “Yogi Ji wants to get me killed. Goons of BJP & Yogi were sent there in black coats.”

“I demand the Election Commission of India to provide security to Omprakash Rajbhar and Arvind Rajbhar,” he tells EC.
