New Delhi, Feb 19: The Government of India has provided Y category security with CRPF cover to poet and former AAP leader Kumar Vishwas.
Eight people are assigned to the ‘Y’ category security cover, five of them are stationed at the protectee’s home.
The other three, in three shifts, accompany the protectee wherever he or she goes, as per protocol.
This comes after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) posted a video on Wednesday (February 16) showing Kumar Vishwas stating that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal wants to be “either the Punjab Chief Minister or the Prime Minister of Khalistan.”
Kumar Vishwas was heard recalling his interaction with Arvind Kejriwal in the video, according to the BJP. Vishwas, on the other hand, did not mention Kejriwal.
In light of the allegations of ‘separatism’ levelled against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal by former Aam Admi Party leader Kumar Vishwas, the Union Ministry of Home Affairs was reconsidering his security.
