Daltonganj, Mar 13: State principal chief conservator of forest Ranchi has issued two separate office orders for a stop-gap arrangement of forest officers in Palamu.
Lagatar24.com has a copy of both the office orders with it.
Both office orders have been issued on March 12. The office orders simply authorise, not speak of taking additional charge of the posts which suggest regular posting on these two posts is on the anvil.
At present, the post of divisional forest officer Medininagar was lying vacant. As March is the last month of the ongoing financial year 2021 – 22 vacant posts of the DFO Medininagar was creating a lot of problems like the release of salary, retiral benefits etc.
The principal chief conservator of the forest has authorised Soumitra Shukla DFO social forestry Latehar to act as DFO Medininagar in Palamu. Shukla has vested power enshrined in the Treasury Code rule 87.
The office order of the principal chief conservator of forest stated that it is a purely temporary arrangement and once posting of DFO Medininagar is done this temporary arrangement will automatically disband itself.
Similarly in another office order of the principal chief conservator of forest regional chief conservator of forest Hazaribag J P Keshri has been authorised to act as the regional chief conservator of forest Palamu. The post of the regional chief conservator of the forest was lying vacant.
This is also a temporary arrangement with the same invocation of the Treasury Code rule 87 and again this temporary arrangement will roll back once the posting of the regional chief conservator of the forest takes place.
Both the officers Soumitra Shukla and J P Keshri will be discharging routine works only read the office orders of the principal chief conservator of forest Ranchi and their discharging of duties as DFO Medininagar and regional chief conservator of forest respectively is purely a temporary arrangement.
