Ranchi, April 20: The body of a 30-yr-old woman was recovered from a house in Karge, a village under the Narkopi police station area in Bero block of Ranchi district.
The deceased was identified as the mother of three children, Batloon Khatoon.
A local resident said she was the first wife of Mukhtar Ansari, who solemnised her second marriage.
The deceased’s father alleged that his daughter was strangulated as there were injury marks on her neck and face.
Police registered an FIR in this connection and arrested Mukhtar Ansari and his second wife and mother of three, Sameera Khatoon, in this connection.
