Patratu, May 13: As India celebrates 75 years of its Independence under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, a quiz competition was organised by Patratu Vidyut Utpadan Nigam (PVUN) on Friday in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya.

The quiz aimed to encourage and enlighten today’s youth regarding the freedom struggles and how our leaders rose to victory. In an interactive talk session, the students were also made aware of the National Movement, which led to our Independence.

Further, the event was concluded with a prize distribution ceremony. All 50 students were rewarded with tokens of appreciation to encourage their spirit by Neeraj Roy (HoHR), followed by prizes for the top 6 scorers. Further, the school administration added that such skill development activities engage students in fruitful learnings.

The quiz was a part of the campaign – ‘Chalo School Chale’ by PVUN, which aims to bring kids back to school to ensure children’s education while further reducing the dropout rate.
