Ramgarh, May 30: A Swift Dzire car was looted after a miscreant made the car owner drink an intoxicating beverage near Nayamod in the Kuju OP region. The local police have registered a complaint in the matter.
In the application filed in Kuju OP, the victim named Abdul Karim Ansari, a resident of Ansari Mohalla in Bokaro, stated that a middle-aged man in Bokaro had hired his Swift Dzire car to travel to Kuju.
Meanwhile, when he arrived near Kuju Nayamod, he was offered a drink by the person which was most likely laced with some sort of sedative. After drinking it, Abdul passed out.
Later, when he regained consciousness, Abdul found himself sleeping on the side of the road near Naya Mod, Kuju. He also did not find his car and the person who came along with him.
After understanding the situation, he reached Kuju OP and gave a written application to the police narrating his ordeal.
Abdul expressed the suspicion that the said person made him walk out of the car to the road after giving him the intoxicating drink.
Kuju OP in-charge Awadhesh Kumar said, “We have started an investigation into the matter and will find the culprit soon.”
