Ranchi, May 30: Bike-borne miscreants shot dead a land dealer named Kamal Bhushan at Madhukam under Sukhdeo Nagar police station area on Monday.
The incident took place when Bhushan was at his residence a locality resident said while a police official said the incident took at Devi Mandap Road when he was on way to meet someone .
The reason behind the incident is yet to be ascertained. Police are investigating the matter.
A local resident said that Bhushan took one bullet on his head while three at other parts of the body. He was rushed to Choudhary Nursing Home, where doctors declared him dead. His body was taken to Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) for autopsy.
S.P(city) Anshuman Kumar confirmed the incident but expressed his inability to city any reason behind it.
