New Delhi, March 3: Former India bowler Abey Kuruvilla to be appointed as the General Manager of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), according to the sources.
His nomination came just a few weeks after his term as a member of the national selection committee came to an end. After Dhiraj Malhotra resigned a few months earlier, the position of BCCI GM was left empty.

Notably, Kuruvilla (53) has played in ten Test matches for India. He made his international debut on March 6, 1997, and played his final match for India on December 14, 1997. Abhay has 25 wickets in 15 Test innings and 25 wickets in 25 One-Day Internationals.
