Ranchi, June 18: In an incident of broad daylight shooting in the court campus, bike borne miscreants shot dead an accused Amit Kumar Singh in the civil court campus in Deoghar.
The incident took place around 11.30 am when Singh was being taken to the court for production. Miscreants used pistols to commit the crime. They came all of a sudden before Singh and indiscriminately opened fire before the police deputed for the security of Singh could react. Singh took bullets on his head and chest and died on the spot.
Singh was a resident of Patna in Bihar. Police recovered a pistol from the spot.
