Ranchi, July 8: A day after a coal trader Ranjit Gupta was shot at near old Argora Chowk here, a member of the Aman Sahu gang, Mayank Singh claimed responsibility through a Facebook post.

Argora police station officer in-charge Brij Jha confirmed the claim saying ‘it is being verified.’

Claiming responsibility, Singh through his post warned the coal trader against making unrestrained statements against him or his boss saying ‘God saved him’ otherwise ‘he had been killed.’

“My bullet goes where my call goes, no matter how powerful a man is. I’d like to assure everyone that those who have not responded to my call will receive my bullet sooner or later,” a line of the post reads.

“The liars pretend that I am a man of such-and-such MP, that I have access to such-and-such minister that I get up and sit with such-and-such officer, that such people now have a bodyguard, an oxygen cylinder, and possibly a doctor in their car. Such people who have offended my boss and my ego should publicly apologise, return the bodyguard to Jharkhand Police, and conduct their business peacefully. You will suffer more if you make me work harder,” the post reads.
