Dhanbad, May 7: Job offers continued pouring in the Birsa Institute of Technology (BIT) Sindri in May too as Amazon has picked up two students from campus.
Chairman of BIT Sindri Career Development Centre Prof (Dr) Ghanshyam said that Amazon has selected the institution’s two students Shyam Kumar Singh (CSE) and Arshad Jamal (IT) for the role of software development engineer at Rs 44 lakh per annum contract.
Last month in April, three national and multi-national companies picked up 15 students from the BIT Sindri campus on attractive CTC.
BIT Sindri Director Dr DK Singh after getting official information of students’ selection by Amazon, congratulated both on their success and wished them a bright future in their careers.
“I express my gratitude and sincere regards to the recruitment team of Amazon for providing this wonderful opportunity to our students and executing the selection process. At the same time, I also highly appreciate the efforts of BIT Sindri Training and Placement Cell coordinator Madhav Kumar and his team members for growing placement statistics,” said Dr DK Singh.
Last month (in April), Tata Technologies JSW and Tata Power selected 15 students.
