Bhubaneswar, June 11: On the completion of nine years of the central government under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Modi, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is running a campaign to make the achievements of the centre accessible to the public.

As part of BJP’s programme, senior party leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah will go to Odisha on June 17 on a day-long tour. Here in Dhenkanal, Shah will take part in ‘Maha Jan Sampark Abhiyan’ and will address a public meeting. This information has been given by Prithviraj Harichandan, general secretary of BJP’s Odisha unit.

According to party sources, on the occasion of the completion of nine years of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government at the Centre, some other senior leaders will also visit Odisha as part of BJP’s nationwide mass contact campaign. BJP national president JP Nadda can go to Odisha on June 22 to participate in the public contact campaign.

Sources said that the state BJP has prepared a massive public relations programme in which rallies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah and Party President JP Nadda are included. Union ministers Giriraj Singh, Arjun Munda and Ashwini Vaishnav are also expected to attend various programs across the state.
