Amity University organises sports event Sangathan – 2022

Ranchi, Oct 20: Amity University Jharkhand hosted a sports event Sangathan 2022 in the presence of its founder President Dr Ashok K Chauhan to promote the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie amongst students.

Dr Atul Chauhan, Chancellor, Amity University Jharkhand blessed the university fraternity.

U Ramachandran, Sr Vice President, Amity Education Group and Gaurav Gupta, Vice President, Amity Education Group conveyed their good wishes and all support to the university students on the occasion.

Dr Ashok K Srivastava, Pro Vice Chancellor, Amity University blessed all the students while inaugurating the event and encouraged them to keep sportsmanship alive.  He said, “It is not important to win or lose but participation is important.”

Prof Dr Ajit Kr Pandey, Dean Academics; Dr S A Pandey, Director Law; Prabhakar Tripathi, Registrar; Dr Vikas Mishra, Director, Engineering and Applied Sciences, Senior members along with dignitaries from head office Noida and the university attended the event.

The list of events scheduled was cricket, football, volleyball, kabaddi, basketball, 100m/200m race, tug of war and other indoor games including table tennis, chess, carom and many more. The audience also participated in a good strength cheering and boosting up.

Students learnt not only to succeed through a spirit of sportsmanship but also got the actual direction including discipline, hard work and many more to lead a healthy life through the event.
