Armed miscreants rob Rs 10 lakh worth jewelleries in Ramgarh

Ramgarh: In broad daylight, a robbery was committed in a jewellery shop located near the Gandhi Chowk area of the Ramgarh police station on Monday. Ornaments worth more than Rs 10 lakh were looted in the incident. The robbery took place at Kohinoor Vadera Jewelers in Shivam Hotel Complex near Damodar Bridge in Gandhi Chowk.

The criminals had arrived riding on two bikes. The 4 criminals wearing masks and helmets captured the shop employee Akash Singh at gunpoint. The criminals tied Akash’s hand and looted the shop.

The robbers looted diamond, gold and silver ornaments from the jewellery shop. The criminals wrapped the jewellery kept on the counter and put it in a bag and took it away.  After the incident, the criminals fled towards the main road on a bike.

The Ramgarh police reached the shop and interrogated the employees and owner of the shop, after which raids were started to nab the criminals.  The shop employee Akash Singh was questioned about the whole matter. The station in charge took the employee of the shop with him for questioning. The incident was recorded on CCTV.
