New Delhi, May 4: An Army helicopter crashed close to Machhna village in the Marwah tehsil of the Kishtwar District of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday. As many as three passengers were in the helicopter at the time of the crash.
The pilot and co-pilot were in an injured condition when they were rescued. According to the authorities, the accident happened in the Marwah region of the hill district.
The pilots in the helicopter crash sustained injuries, but they are safe, according to Army officials.
“An Army ALH Dhruv Helicopter crashed near Kishtwar, Jammu & Kashmir. Pilots have suffered injuries but are safe. Further details are awaited,” Army officials said.
