Hazaribag, Aug 13: Marching troops of the army today took part in a full dress rehearsal of the Independence Day parade at the local Curzon ground. On the occasion, the Commissioner of North Chotanagpur commissionerate Suman Catherine Kispotta, DC Nancy Sahay and SP Manoj Ratan Chauthe jointly inspected the full dress rehearsal by the army and police force contingents. During this, the national flag was hoisted by the Commissioner and a salute was given. Army personnel in full uniform were seen stepping on the national tune with enthusiasm.
During the full dress rehearsal on Sunday, seven different contingents of the army, BSF, CRPF, district police, women’s wing, NCC and home guards were seen in uniforms with their weapons.
Marching contingents and band parties of the army participated. Nazarat Deputy Collector David Balihar was also present with other officials.
