ATS arrests Md Irfan for having connection with criminals

Ranchi, Oct.8: A sleuth of the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) arrested Mohammed Irfan from a petrol pump under Kanta Toli police station. It is said that he has connections with the Aman Sao gang.

 

Sources in the locality said Irfan also has connections with extremists. “He was arrested when he came out to purchase a mobile phone,” a locality resident said.

 

A few minutes after the arrest it got circulated through social media that a youth has been abducted from Kanta Toli and officials of Lower Bazar police station have started a probe into the matter.

 

When contacted Lower Bazar police station officer-in-charge Sanjay Kumar for his comment he denied any incident of abduction from his area.

 

“Including you, I must have received 25 calls asking about the abduction. This is all farce,”  OC Kumar fumed.
