New Delhi, Dec 29: Organisation that monitors aviation security, the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security, has taken note of a video that went viral and showed passengers fighting on a trip from Bangkok to Kolkata. It has asked for a comprehensive report on the occurrence.

On the basis of the report, additional action will be done.

“We’ve taken note of the viral video, which shows a fight between passengers on a Thai Airways flight to Kolkata,” said Zulfiquar Hasan, DG BCAS.

“The organisation has sought a detailed report from the concerned authority,” he added.

On a Tuesday trip from Bangkok to Kolkata, two Indian passengers got into a heated debate in the middle of the flight that quickly escalated into a physical fight. Two guys are seen arguing on a Thai Smile Airway flight in a video that has since gone viral on social media. The flight attendants are seen attempting to defuse the situation.

As the other man’s companions join the fight, the man can be seen taking off his glasses and punching the other man. However, the other man did not strike back and was just seen defending himself. Co-travelers and flight attendants can be heard pleading with the man to stop fighting before some of the flight attendants are able to break up the brawl.

Thai Smile Airways hasn’t addressed the problem as of yet.
