Ranchi, Sept 3: BJP state president Babulal Marandi has alleged that JMM supporters Bhola Singh and Tapeshwar Singh have kidnapped two BJP workers in Dumri’s Jaridih. The names of the two activists who have been abducted are Mathura Soren and Jayaprakash Mandal. They haven’t been released yet.
Babulal said that he has spoken to the DGP regarding this and has asked to take action. He said that NDA candidate Yashoda Devi is winning with huge votes in Dumri by-election. The people there have made up their mind for change. Knowing this, JMM is taking such steps out of desperation. Chief Minister Hemant Soren wants to convert Jharkhand into West Bengal. Babulal Marandi said this at a press conference at the party’s state headquarters in Ranchi.
Babulal said that JMM goons and police-administration are together harassing BJP workers in Dumri. Villagers of Saraytand village have told that JMM people have come to the village and threatened that if they vote for AJSU, then ration and water will be stopped. People are scared due to this. He said that the public has rejected JMM in this election. Knowing this, JMM is trying to create an atmosphere of fear and terror there.
Babulal, while issuing a warning, stated that fair and peaceful elections should take place in Dumri. If anyone attempts any malpractice or wrongdoing during the elections, the BJP and AJSU Party supporters are not weak either. In such a scenario, if any undesirable incident occurs, the responsibility will lie with the state government.
