Ranchi: As Jharkhand gears up for its assembly elections, BJP state president Babulal Marandi has issued a powerful appeal to the youth, urging them to exercise their right to vote responsibly. In a strongly worded social media post, Marandi reminded young voters of the false promises made by corrupt leaders, saying, “Remember those who played with your dreams. This time, the election is about your future, and the decision lies in your hands.”
“Remember the Broken Promises”
Babulal Marandi emphasized that voters should not forget the many unfulfilled promises made by the current government. He specifically called attention to incidents like exam paper leaks that endangered the careers of countless young people in the state. He encouraged the youth to hold such leaders accountable and send a clear message in the upcoming elections, stating, “This is your chance to teach those leaders a lesson, to ensure that no government ever forgets the consequences of betraying the youth.”
“The Power of Democracy is Your Vote”
Highlighting the importance of voting, Marandi reiterated that in a democracy, the most significant power lies with the people. “Use your vote to show that the youth of Jharkhand understands the value of their dreams and will never forgive those who rob them,” he said. He further added, “Let’s turn this election into a festival for the youth’s future, marking a new beginning for Jharkhand.”
Criticism of Hemant Soren’s Government
Marandi didn’t hold back in criticizing Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s administration, blaming the government for widespread corruption, negligence, and unfulfilled promises over the past five years. “How can you trust a government that repeatedly betrayed your future?” he asked, reminding the youth of Soren’s promises for five lakh jobs and unemployment benefits—promises that, according to Marandi, remain unmet.
“Take Revenge for the Betrayal”
In a final call to action, Marandi urged the youth to remember the day when the Enforcement Directorate (ED) seized exam admit cards from a close associate of the chief minister, highlighting how corrupt practices affected their futures. “This election is not just about casting your vote,” Marandi declared. “It’s about seeking justice for the betrayal of your dreams.”
