Bahragora, July 9: In a commendable move to address safety concerns, Member of Parliament (MP) Vidyut Varan Mahato has stepped up to assist farmers in the Satpati and Loudonka villages. Responding to the farmers’ plea for safer irrigation practices, MP Vidyut Varan Mahato, along with the cooperation of officials from the Electricity Department, provided cement poles to replace hazardous bamboo structures used to carry electric wires.
Until recently, farmers in Satpati and Loudonka villages had been facing a potential accident risk. To power these essential tools, they had resorted to the precarious method of carrying electric wires with bamboo poles, significantly endangering their well-being.
Recognizing the urgency of the situation, the farmers appealed to MP Vidyut Varan Mahato for support, urging him to provide cement poles as a safer alternative. Responding promptly to their request, the proactive MP collaborated with officials from the Electricity Department to source and provide the necessary cement pole.
