BBMKU Dhanbad increases B.Ed fees by Rs 60,000

Ranchi Oct 23: The Binod Bihari Mahto Koyalanchal University has notified the fees for the academic session 2021-2023 for two years B.Ed programme to be Rs 1,50,000 for General and OBC students and Rs 1,40,000 for SC/ST students.

The fee has increased by Rs 60,000 for the B.Ed programme wherein the earlier fees were Rs 90,000 for the two-year programme. This fee will be applicable for all B.Ed Colleges (Constituent/Private/Affiliated) of Binod Bihari Mahto Koyalanchal University, Dhanbad.

The two-year course fee is ?85,000 in Sido Kanhu Murmu University in Dumka, ?90,000 in Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribagh, ?1.20 lakh in Kolhan University and ?1.50 lakh in Ranchi University.

Earlier, there was an agitation by the students of the University over the hike in the fees where several meetings were held but with no conclusion.

Now on October 23 2021 BBMKU has officially notified the fees before taking the admission of the students in the programme.
