Varanasi, March 26: Bhojpuri actor Akanksha Dubey (25) allegedly died by suicide on Sunday. She was found in a hotel room in the Sarnath area, Varanasi.

As per information, the actress was shooting a film in Varanasi. The police have informed her family about the incident and have already sent the body for a post-mortem. However, the police are yet to ascertain whether it’s a case of suicide.
“The prima facie report suggests it might be a case of suicide. But we have to wait for the post-mortem report to be sure of the cause of the death,” said the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Varanasi.
A day before her death, on Saturday, the actor shared a reel on Instagram where she can be seen flaunting her belly dancing skills. The tragic news of her demise came on the day of her music video ‘Ye Aara Kabhi Hara Nahi’s’ release, where she is paired alongside Pawan Singh.
The Bhojpuri actress Akanksha Dubey made her debut in the industry with Meri Jung Mera Faisla. She was also seen in Mujhse Shadi Karogi (Bhojpuri), Veeron Ke Veer and Fighter King and others. Akanksha had huge followers on Instagram and her reel videos were quite popular.
