Daltonganj, Oct 3: Some big decision regarding the Palamu civil surgeon is speculated to come to the fore after Dussehra.
Well-placed sources said civil surgeon Dr John F Kennedy, who is now under judicial remand for taking a bribe, is to be served with a suspension order.
Again the state health department is to install a civil surgeon here and this is going to be a big task.
MMCH Daltonganj has a stock of three former civil surgeons working here. These 3 former civil surgeons are Dr Vijay Singh, Dr Anil Kumar and Dr Anil Kumar Srivastav.
Dr Vijay Singh, the orthopaedic surgeon, has the longest tenure of being a civil surgeon here in comparison to Dr Anil Kumar and Dr Anil Kumar Srivastav.
Talks doing the rounds here are whether the state health department picks any of these 3 former civil surgeons who are now locals or imports here someone from outside.
