Bihar: Minor girl shot in neck by man she rejected

Patna, Aug 18: A 15-year-old girl was allegedly shot in the neck in Patna over a love affair, and the terrifying visuals of the incident were recorded on CCTV. She was returning from coaching when the incident happened at around 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the Sipara of Indrapuri area, according to the police.

According to the video, a man who had been stalking the girl shot her after taking a revolver from his bag. Then he leaves the area.

According to the police, preliminary findings indicate that the shooting was the result of a love affair. The real cause, however, could only be discovered when the victim’s statement was recorded, according to the police.

The girl is currently being treated at a private hospital and is in a severe condition.

The accused has been identified but is yet to be arrested.
