Bihar: Six die after consuming toxic liquor in Chhapra

Patna, Dec 14: At least six individuals in the Chhapra area of Bihar died after consuming toxic liquor. One died at the district hospital, while five of them passed died in the village. It’s thought that some individuals are receiving therapy in a private setting.

The dead have been identified as Sanjay Singh, Kripal Kumar, Harendra Ram, Virendra Ram, Amit Ranjan, and Gopal Shah. Of them, Amit died during treatment and the police took his body in their custody.

An official stated that a post-mortem would be performed on his body to determine the exact cause of death.

The authorities have not yet verified the family’ claims that the deceased’ deaths were caused by poisonous alcohol.

Local BJP MLA Janak Singh blamed the murders on the Nitish Kumar-led Bihar government. In his village, at least three of the fatalities happened.
