BIT Mesra invites applications for BTech courses in three off-campuses

Ranchi, Sept 7: The process of enrollment for B Tech courses has been started in three off-campuses of BIT Mesra including BIT Deoghar, BIT Patna and BIT Jaipur. Interested students will be able to apply for enrollment from the institute’s website on the basis of JEE Main result. The last date for online registration for admissions is September 20.

The registration fee for candidates of general category is Rs 1500, while the same for SC/ST category candidates has been fixed at Rs 1000. During the registration process, candidates have been asked to fill JEE Main score as well as other necessary information carefully. After this, the selection will be done on the basis of merit list.

BIT Deoghar is offering B Tech courses in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, while BIT Patna is offering courses in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Mechanical and Civil Engineering. Meanwhile, BIT Jaipur has Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering.

On the other hand, the BIT Mesra main campus offers 10 courses of BE and BTech for the session 2022. These courses are to have enrolled through Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSA) and Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) counselings.

Here, candidates will get an opportunity to enroll on the basis of their JEE ranking. The 10 courses offered by the institute include Biotechnology, Chemical, Civil, Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, Production and Industrial, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Engineering, apart from Architecture. The campus has a total of 900 seats for admission.
