Ranchi, May 27: BJP state general secretary and in party’s headquarters in-charge Pradeep Verma, today said the Congress is unable to tolerate the growing and changing India under the leadership of a strong, democratic, successful Prime Minister.
Verma said that the public has understood the Congress which raised questions on Lord Ram, Ram Setu, brave soldiers of India and surgical strike and that is the reason why the public has thrown him out of the governance of the country.
He asked the state Congress to explain as to why it remains silent on the rampant corruption, mineral looting, atrocities against women, sisters, and daughters, and murder in the state. “The party raising concerns about employment in the country should explain what happened to their promises of providing five lakh jobs per year, loan waivers for farmers, unemployment benefits, and free electricity,” he maintained.
“The Congress should explain why extremists are raising their voices and why businessmen are considering to leave the state. Why are the poor’s schemes failing in the state? Why were the farmer schemes initiated by the Raghuvar government halted?,” he asked.
He stated that the Congress party has chosen four C grades for itself: cut, corruption, and commission. “The party claims to support PSUs but consistently opposes institutions such as SBI and LIC,” he said, adding that State Bank of India’s profit increased by 58% while LIC’s profit increased by 466%.
He stated that while the world is praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Corona management and vaccination, the Congress has been staunchly opposed to it from the start. “This is an insult not only to the country, but also to the thousands of service members.”
He said that today India’s economy is the 5th largest economy in the world. “It has crossed 3.5 trillion. Today India’s foreign exchange reserves are beyond 50 lakh crores, India which exported only 19.05 lakh crores in 2014 has exported goods worth more than 36 lakh crores in 2022-23.”
He said that the Congress is misleading the public even on MSP, while the Modi government has increased the MSP of all the crops by one and a half times. He said that today India’s manufacturing sector has become very strong. “India has become the second largest producer in the world in mobile manufacturing. India is exporting defense equipment manufactured in the country. Defense equipment worth Rs 16,000 crore has been exported from the country.”
He said that the Congress party is the mother of corruption and scams. The public does not accept the allegations of corruption on the Modi government by the Congress, which has registered a record of many scams including 2G scam, Bofors, CommonWealth, Helicopter, SubMarine scams.
He asked the Congress to reply under whose rule China occupied thousands of square kilometers of the country’s land and added that the party has no right to speak on the issue of China in front of Modi who ensured hoisting India’s flag in Galvan Valley and Doklam.
“Why has the Congress forgotten that during Manmohan Singh’s regime, his Defence Minister AK Antony had said that we deliberately did not build a road on the China border,” he asked.
