Ranchi, June 5: BJP national president J P Nadda reached Ranchi on Sunday. Nadda is here to strengthen BJP’s connection with all the 32 scheduled tribes living in the state, as well as to attend the Dharti Aba Birsa Munda Vishwas rally organized here on the occasion of Environment Day.

Notably, out of the 28 ST seats in the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly with 81 elected members, only two Torpa and Khunti are with the BJP. Meanwhile, one seat will be up by-election on Mander on June 23.
BJP’s state Speaker and MP Deepak Prakash said that Nadda is expected to give information about the development work being done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the tribal society at the rally. On reaching Ranchi, the national president was given a grand welcome at the airport.
Notably, cultural arts will also be displayed in the rally displaying a glimpse of Jharkhand’s culture. After the rally, Nadda will also meet with the state ST Morcha office bearers of the party and will discuss how to strengthen the party in the assembly areas reserved for Scheduled Tribes.
