Ranchi: BJP has launched a sharp attack on the Jharkhand government over the rising number of child disappearances in the state and deteriorating women’s safety, accusing the administration of complete failure on both fronts.

103 Children Missing From Kolhan Region

Party state spokesperson Rafia Naz alleged that approximately 103 children have gone missing from Jharkhand’s Kolhan region alone, calling the situation extremely alarming. She also flagged the case of an 18-month-old girl who went missing from Ranchi’s Kokar area, saying the family has been repeatedly questioning the administration but no concrete action has been taken so far.

Government’s Women Safety Claims Questioned

Rafia Naz said the government had made tall claims about women’s safety but the ground reality tells a completely different story. She stated that the government which once projected itself as a model for women’s safety has now completely failed to protect children and women in the state.

Law and Order Situation Deteriorating

The BJP spokesperson said the law and order situation in the state is continuously worsening and women are feeling increasingly unsafe. She demanded that the government take immediate steps to recover all missing children and take strict action against those responsible.
