Ranchi, July 31: BJP state president Babulal Marandi expressed his concern over the use of disrespectful words for respected government officials by a Birsa Munda Central Jail prisoner and suggested his transfer to another state.
Marandi shared his concern and suggestion through a tweet. He said the disrespectful language was used when the district administration in the morning raided the jail. He, quoting sources, mentioned the name of the prisoner as ‘PP” and tagged director of enforcement (ED) (@dir_ed) and Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren (@HemantSorenJMM) in his tweet to probe the matter.
Notably, power broker Prem Prakash, popularly known as PP, is lodged in the Birsa Munda jail in a money laundering case.
“Sources are informing that a prisoner talked in the language of ‘Tum’ with the members of a team which had gone for a raid at Hotwar jail early in the morning. He named two senior officers of the district and asked “Wo Dono Nahi Aaya, Kidhar Hai Wah Dono?” The constable asked hesitantly…. Who are you? The prisoner said, go and say “PP is looking for….. ..Chief Minister @HemantSorenJMM ji, what is the truth in this? And under whose coercion has the imprisoned power broker’s morale risen to the point where he refers to the district’s respected officers as if they are servants of his house…..@dir_ed, can you look into where this prisoner in jail is getting this “power”? If my information is correct and the broker is breaking the law in the jail, then transfer this prisoner to another state jail,” the tweet reads.
