Ranchi, Jan.15: Jharkhand unit of the BJP has issued 59 helpline numbers amid the third wave of Covid-19 at its state headquarters.

The help line numbers included 9304545774, 7979927822 and 8882633122 besides 56 other helpline numbers issued by district units of the youth wing of the party.

BJP state president Deepak Prakash, BJP Yuva Morcha state president Kislay Tiwari and BJYM National Working Committee member Shashank Raj were present on the occasion.

Deepak Prakash said that the outbreak of the third wave of Covid is visible in the entire country including the state and like the first and second wave, the BJP workers with the help of helpline numbers will also serve the people in the third wave.

“It will have to be attempted so that the helpline number reaches as many people as possible,” Prakash said.

Prakash while releasing the help line numbers also attacked the state government for its non-performance.

“Things are not going well in the government. Controversy is being quelled by handing out a few posts in a 20-point programme execution committee. Ministers are happy and ruling party MLAs are upset. This government came to power by showing the beautiful dreams of Mungerilal and did not fulfill its promises,” Prakash said.

Regarding cases of mob lynching in Simdega, he said that the situation in the state is as it was once in Rome.

“The king was playing the flute while Rome was burning,” he said.

Tiwari while releasing the number said that it will be operational till the end of pandemic.

“Both the waves of Covid had shaken the general public. Now the third wave has arrived. This time also the BJP workers are going to dedicate themselves in the service of the society. He said that in the second wave BJP workers had distributed masks, sanitisers, medical kits and food packets. Blood donation was also done. Party workers cremated 200 such bodies which were rejected by their relatives. The BJP workers will continue to serve the people till war against Corona is not won,” he said.
