New Delhi, Sept 22: Ramesh Bidhuri, a BJP MP, was given a show cause notice by the Bharatiya Janata Party on Friday for using unparliamentary words in the Lok Sabha against Kunwar Danish Ali, a member of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP).
In the Lok Sabha, Ramesh Bidhuri made offensive comments towards BSP politician Kunwar Danish Ali during a discussion about the Chandrayaan-3 project. The comments made by South Delhi representative Ramesh Bidhuri have been removed.
The opposition leaders demanded severe action against the BJP leader after their remarks incited uproar. Jairam Ramesh, a Congressman, demanded that Bidhuri be expelled from Parliament, stating that the language he used “should not be used inside or outside Parliament.”
Earlier today, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla issued a stern warning to Ramesh Bidhuri, taking “serious note” of his objectionable comments in the House and cautioning him about the possibility of “strict action” if such behavior recurs in the future.
