Rajasthan, Dec 26: The case of the 2nd grade teacher’s recruitment examination paper leak in Rajasthan is heating up.
The Opposition BJP and the Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP) on Monday held protests at several places in the state against the paper leak.
As per information, Police have arrested 55 people after the paper was leaked a few hours before the examination was to begin on Saturday morning.
The BJP and the RLP held separate protests demanding a CBI probe into the matter.
“A CBI inquiry should be ordered into the matter. It is the 11th paper that has been leaked in the state under the Congress rule. This is a betrayal with the candidates,” said BJP MLA Vasudev Devnani.
BJP MP Bhagirath Choudhary and other leaders also participated in the protests, which were held in Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota and other districts of the state.
During the protest in Ajmer, there was a scuffle between BJP workers and the police.
It is noteworthy that the recruitment examination which was to be conducted by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission was cancelled soon after it began on Saturday morning.
The Udaipur police had stopped a bus in which 37 students were solving questions with the help of experts a few hours before the exam was to begin. They were allegedly provided with the paper by one Suresh Vishnoi. The police have busted a cheating racket and arrested 55 people, including the mastermind and registered two cases against them.
