Ranchi, Jan.7: The district unit of BJP observed two-hour silence before Raj Bhavan to mark its protest against the breach in the security of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Punjab.

The programme was led by district president K.K.Gupta in which local MLA C.P.Singh was present with other local BJP leaders. During the silence around 100 BJP workers prayed for good sense to the Congress party, who allegedly took the matter of the PM’s security lightly.

“Bapu Hum Sharminda Hain Congress Abhi Bhi Jinda Hai,” legislator Singh observed after he ended his silence after two hours.

“Prime Minister used to be a leader of the country but the Punjab government appeared irresponsible in taking the security of the PM and it appears that his intention was something different on the pretext of farmers’ agitation,” legislator Singh said.

Gupta said: “Modi is not a national but an international leader but Congress sees him as a thorn in its path and thus used farmers to stop the PM and when his ill intention failed their leaders started giving arbitrary statements.”
