BJP Secretariat gherao: Police lathi-charge BJP workers holding protest against Jharkhand govt

Ranchi. April 11: Police on Tuesday resorted to lathicharge and used water cannons on BJP workers holding protest demonstration against Jharkhand government in Ranchi.

Notably, the BJP has come out to lay siege to the Secretariat against the policies of the Hemant government. All the MPs, MLAs and workers of Jharkhand were marching towards the secretariat. The BJP MP’s broke the barricading and reached the Secretariat premises, where he has been detained.

Along with this, MP Sunil Singh and MLA Biranchi Narayan have also been detained. On the other hand, water was used by the administration to disperse the workers. So in response, the workers also started throwing water bottles at the police. There, barricades have been installed at various places, BJP MP Jayant Sinha has broken the first barricade and is moving forward with the workers.

On the other hand, water was used by the administration to disperse the workers. So in response the workers started throwing water bottles at the police. When the police released tear gas shells, the workers retreated for some time. But then started misbehaving. In view of the situation, the administration has ordered lathi charge. On the spot, a media person’s head got injured in the scuffle. Earlier, the workers are moving ahead after breaking the barricades installed at various places.
