Dhanbad, April 11: Rajkumar Singh of Dhanbad bagged 1st prize in the 4th Jharkhand state’ Imagine Expo Photo Competition held at Ranchi. The exhibition cum competition was organized at Ranchi Khel Gao in which four events Hamara Jharkhand, Journalism, Wedding Candid and Wedding Portrait were put on display.
Rajkumar Singhb (Chandan Studio) of Dhanbad’s photo in ‘Hamara Jharkhand’ was adjudged best by jury team. Sagar Parmar of Bokaro and Ranjan Mandal of Deoghar district bagged 2nd and 3rd prizes respectively in this event.
Rajkumar Singh had earlier in 2020 got 2nd prize in a state photographers competition. Sandeep Nag(Dainik Bhaskar) of Ranchi got first prize in the ‘Journalism Photography’ event followed by Subhojit Ghosal and Samarath Chatterjee (Dhanbad) on the 2nd and 3rd position respectively.
In the Wedding Candid event photo of Jamshedpur’s Ranjan Singh was adjudged best. Kamlesh Marandi of Ranchi and Ajit from Odisha bagged 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
Balwant Singh of Dumka bagged the first prize in Wedding Portrait followed by Chotu Saw of (Chandan Studio) and Shubham of Dhanbad got 2nd and 3rd prizes respectively.
Gautam Waria, jagdish Singh Rajiv Ranjan were jury members who selected the photo in all four events for the award. Binod Soni of Lohardagga conducted the competition.
