Ranchi, Aug1: BJP legislators on Monday asked Chief Minister Hemant Soren to leave the throne in the second spell of second day of the Monsoon session of the Jharkhand assembly.
The demand was raised as soon as the proceedings of the house started at 12.30 pm and the majority of BJP legislators reached near the Well shouting slogans.
Chief Minister Soren was present in the House when the demand was being raised.
Earlier, as soon as the CM entered the House, he gestured for chest-beating while teasing the BJP MLAs.
Amid the ruckus, the first supplementary budget of Rs 3436 crores 55 lakh 36 thousand was presented in the house for the financial year 2022-23.
As the budget was presented, the speaker adjourned the proceedings from 12.45 to 2 pm.
