Kolkata, Aug 1: Mamata Banerjee, the chief minister of West Bengal, has made the decision to replace five members of her cabinet. The decision was made in the midst of the Partha Chatterjee jobs-for-cash fraud.

“We will do reshuffle on Wednesday, there will be 4-5 new faces,” SAID West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee.

The shift was anticipated because senior minister Partha Chatterjee was fired after it was discovered that he had millions of dollars in cash. Subrata Mukherjee, a different senior minister, passed away last year. Mukherjee was in charge of a number of significant portfolios, including the Panchayat division.

Five new faces will be added to the cabinet, according to sources. On Wednesday, the reorganisation is anticipated to be announced. The services of four incumbent ministers would be diverted toward bolstering the Trinamool Congress.
